Associate Events Designer (Direct Hire)

High end event planning and design company is hiring a talented Associate Event Designer to join their in-house design studio. Under the direction of a Design Director, the Associate Event Designer implements all aspects of the creative process including the design development and execution of on-brand, innovative events. In this role you will develop the event and tradeshow design, specifically in details such as composition and integration of multi-faceted components i.e. color, sound, lighting, décor, and any other relevant attributes of the creative planning process. Candidates need to have held at least one job for 3-5 years designing interior spaces; events company experience is a bonus. A portfolio that demonstrates interior design ideas is a must as well as having actual experience creating unique 3D spaces. Proficient in the Adobe Creative Suite with Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook. This is a full remote role however candidates must be local to the Boston area to perform site visits to all selected sites for assigned client events. Must be able to work overtime, nights, and weekends.
