Job Description: Non-profit professional organization is hiring a Managing Editor to help contribute to the strategic editorial direction for the company brand by delivering effective, compelling marketing materials and overseeing corporate communications. The Managing Editor will manage the performance of a team through selection, training and performance feedback delivery, make sure that deliverables are on-time and within budget, promote company culture and core values, and provide editorial direction and create compelling copy for all marketing communications, including brochures, member communications, sales tool kits, website, etc. The ideal candidate knows Wordpress as well as some Salesforce, Marketo and Google Analytics. This type of writer will need to know how these apply to content as this is NOT a ‘headline, grab you copy’ person, but someone who knows how to relate analytics to data and get them to drive one another. 5+ years of online and traditional marketing experience content development experience, including copywriting, required.
