Rick Hooker, Chairman
As Chairman, Rick is responsible for strategic direction, investment decisions and
financial management of Pile and Company and its divisions, Communications Collaborative
and the In-House Agency Forum. Rick joined Pile in 1987, shortly after it was founded
by Skip Pile. He began his career in 1978 at Ingalls Advertising in the media department,
was later an Account Executive at WBZ-TV Boston, and returned to Ingalls (IQ&J)
as Vice President with responsibility for agency operations. Rick holds B.S. and
M.B.A. degrees from Babson College.

Judy Neer, President and CEO
As President and CEO, Judy leads Pile and Company, Communications Collaborative,
and IHAF, ensuring the highest levels of client satisfaction and driving the overall
strategic plan. Judy has worked on hundreds of agency reviews across a range of
industries including retail, financial services, consumer services, business-to-business
and technology. She has led the expansion of Pile's agency reviews to not only include
advertising, but also media, direct marketing, sales promotion, design, multi-cultural,
digital, brand, sports marketing and more. She is responsible for driving the diversification
of Pile's consulting services to include Agency Performance Evaluation, Agency Compensation
and Organizational Consulting. Prior to joining Pile and Company in 1996, Judy spent
twenty years in the advertising industry at Hill, Holliday, Connors, Cosmopolous,
Emerson Lane Fortuna and Ingalls Advertising.

Mike McDonnell, SVP, General Manager
Mike joined Pile and Company as the company's Controller in 2003 to lead the finance
department. In 2007, his role expanded and now includes not only the oversight of
finance but also the overall management of the staffing group, Communications Collaborative.
Mike holds a B.S. in Finance from Providence College.

Eric Gendron, Director of Business Development
Eric joined Communications Collaborative in December 2007. Eric is charged with
the discovery and development of new clients in search of marketing and communications
freelance talent. Eric is a graduate of The College of the Holy Cross where he played
NCAA Division 1 Football and was a three-year starter along the offensive line.

Joyce Bethoney, Director of Recruiting
As Director of Recruiting, Joyce is responsible for overseeing the recruiting team
and building Communications Collaborative's network of New England's top freelance
and permanent creative and marketing talent. She has spent over ten years in creative
staffing and corporate recruiting and has been a part of the creative industry since
the inception of her career in television production. Joyce is an Emerson College
graduate with a B.S. in Mass Communications.

Mary Truslow, Senior Recruiter
Mary's deep knowledge of and experience in advertising and marketing brings insight
and expertise to our network of creative and marketing professionals. She knows
the high caliber of talent in the Boston area and the importance of listening in
order to match the right people with the right opportunities. Prior to joining Communications
Collaborative, Mary spent 15 years at ad agencies and ten years at marketing communications
staffing firms. Mary holds a B.A. in Art History from the University of Vermont.

David Gogel, Business Development Manager
David is a Business Development Manager for Communications Collaborative. Focusing
on clients in need of freelance and full-time marketing communications staff, he
brings a thorough background in staffing and consulting and a passion for helping
businesses achieve their goals.

Megan Greene, Staffing Coordinator
As Staffing Coordinator, Megan is responsible for assisting Communications Collaborative
in managing client and candidate relations, coordinating interviews and events,
initiating marketing through email campaigns and social networking, and fulfilling
administrative tasks. A 2012 graduate from Endicott College, Megan received her
B.S in Mass Communications with a concentration in advertising.

Jeff Trueblood, SVP, Director of IT
Jeff joined Pile and Company in 2000 to lead the implementation of its strategic
information technology plan. Prior to joining the firm, he provided production and
IT support to BBK Communications, Filenes and Staples. Jeff has a Bachelors of Industrial
Design from Syracuse University.

Katrina Miller, Communications Designer
Katrina joined Pile and Company in 2003 from Dean & Scott, a full service law firm
in the Boston area. In 2004, she was promoted to Communications Designer taking
on responsibility for the creation and active management of the organization's brands
and graphic identity. Katrina graduated from Palm Beach Atlantic University with
a B.A. in Art/Marketing.

Matt Schoener, Assistant Controller
Matt joined Pile and Company in 2011 to support the finance team. He began his career
in Fund Accounting at Investor's Bank and Trust before moving on to the Structured
Trusts and Analytics team at State Street Corporation. Matt holds a Business Management
degree from Merrimack College and coaches youth basketball in his spare time.

Mike Gibney, IT Specialist/Developer
As IT Specialist/Developer, Mike handles software and web development, IT troubleshooting,
and installing and repairing hardware. When he's not cursing at and/or pleading
with computers, Mike enjoys building high-end computers from scratch, biking, video
games, and craft beers.
